Prices for school visits
£4.75 per head with a minimum booking of £75 for half a day or £100 for a full day. Prices include all food and are reduced by 50p per person if a banquet is not provided, although food with 'taster samples' will still be included in the reduced price as part of the ' how people lived ' section of the day.
A 5% discount against your first booking is currently available.
Repeat booking discounts : 2nd booking 7.5% 3rd booking 10% all future bookings at 12.5% discount.
A 'reward scheme' donates £25 for each successful booking we receive from another school following your recommendation. This can be paid to your school fund or to an individual.
Compared with £500 coach hire to visit Chester, Conwy or York, plus entrance fees, this is very reasonable and no extra staff are required. A tour around Jorvik, around £5, lasts under an hour and a great part of the day is lost sitting on a coach.
Prices are for school visits within Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport and Tameside.
For other areas mileage is charged at 15p per mile, return from Ashton-U-Lyne.

Tours are always pre-booked, usually exclusive to a small 'family' group. Decide what you want to see and we will give you an honest estimate of the time and distance involved and establish a fair price. Estimate £5 per person per hour, minimum charge £20.
