Tudor Day June 2011
Heads rolled and axes swung as the children got hands-on experience of living in Tudor times. They coverd Timelines, the 6 wives of Henry VIII, Mary Queen of Scots, medicine and weapons to name but a few of the topics.
Children handled Holy Relics with reverence and learnt the true story behind each one. The ever popular fire lighting saw sparks fly, games were played and the dancing proved very popular.
The highlight of the afternoon was the 6 wives rendition of Divorced, Behead, Died and the ever popular quiz that, for the first time ever, was a dead heat.
A great day, great kids who's behaviur was a credit to themselves, their teacher and their school.
Photo's are awaited from school.
