Romans
Tribal Celts painted blue, living in roundhouses with wattle and daub walls. Hill forts and farming, pagan worship. Life in Britain before the Romans was simple. Late Iron Age technology was about to be changed for ever. Boudicca's revolt crushed, the Druids massacred, the Romans established themselves in Britain and stayed for over 400 years.
Coliseum of Rome
Thanks to them we have aqueducts and apples, belt buckles and bricks, cats, coins and cabbages. They also laid a few roads here and there and built a couple of bridges !
Bath
Medical matters are dealt with by Maximus Septicus, doctor to the Roman legion who will have his selection of 'cure all' herbs with tonics available to sample.
